It’s a dashed strange thing, love, filling the body with warmth as it does, isn’t it?
As I agree with Jeeves that this story isn’t, unlike much of my other writing, to hit any bookshelves in the future, I am, for once, rather not feeling compelled to provide a deeper introduction to the matters that form the ‘beforehand’ of this story. There are no readers to disappoint with a lack of an introduction to one of my aunts Dahlia or Agatha, or Gussie Fink-Nottle, or my cousin Angela, nor are any introductions further than my own and that of my long-time paragon of a valet, Reginald Jeeves, required.

Written for this prompt: While on holiday, Jeeves finally realizes he can't take it any more and decides to make his move on Bertie when he gets home. Every time Jeeves tries to say something, there's an interruption. - birds, bezels, aunts, traveling salesmen, thunderstorms, the more bizarre the better. Finally, seeing that trying to talk to Bertie about it is going to be hopeless, he engineers a few days of absolute isolation and pounces the young master, who responds with delight and a what-took-you-so-long attitude. Massive happy smut ensues. Satisfaction is had by all.

Summary
Bertie meets a young Agatha Christie and hits it off with her at a garden party. She even offers to let him read and comment on her latest manuscript, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, before she posts it to her publisher. Of course, mayhem ensues when the manuscript is stolen and Jeeves and Bertie must find and return it to the rightful owner. Mix in a dash of danger, anger, angst, and unrequited feeling, and it's the perfect storm for 'certain whatsits' to come to light.
