Summary
A dance of lust and wrath. The young Targaryen prince, Aemond "One Eye", second son to Viseyrs Targaryen and younger brother to Aegon Targaryen finds himself rather at war with his own feelings. He has always looked up to his uncle, prince Daemon Targaryen as a great war hero. He isn't quite sure if his attraction to the elder prince is simply a matter of wanting to be like prince Daemon himself or if there was something more to his feelings. He tried not to notice how often his eye wandered. How he looked at Daemon when he believed no one to be looking, how he had imagined the feeling of the other man's hands on his body or his breath across his skin. Aemond didn't want to admit how much he truly idolized Daemon, he was simply intoxicated by the man.
In this one-shot, I revisit two scenes from House of The Dragon where we see a tense argument over secession which ends bloody, and a tense dinner scene that leads to a welling up of hurt pride and triggered wrath. There is a spoiler warning if you haven't watched the full season.
