    Quirks are everything. In the decades since their arrival, they've become so ingrained in society that having a quirk is equated with being human.

    So, what happens when someone is quirkless? Are they viewed as less than those have one? Not fully deserving to be called human?

    What happens when someone has more than one quirk, against the natural order of things? Are they viewed as monsters? Inhuman for an entirely different reason?

    And, most importantly.

    What happens when someone is born with a quirk that gives them the power to decide who falls into what category?

    In canon, Izuku turned out to be quirkless, despite both his parents having quirks: one that attracts small objects and one that breathes fire. There are so many ways for these quirks to have combined into what could’ve been Izuku’s, and so many of these potential combinations can be seen across the multiverse. In this specific one, however, Izuku Midoriya is born with a star in his stomach and plasma coursing through his veins…That’s sure to affect a few things in his life, for better and for worse.

    A healthy dose of the butterfly effect, plenty of quirk theory and analysis, unconventional relationships and dilemmas, a revamped curriculum and more await Izuku and the others, in a world that seems so similar yet so different once you look closer.

    Summary

    Read in any order. It's less a series and more a multiverse with many repetitive elements (like OCs or plot concepts). Eventually will be composed of six parts: Cure to Evil, Ties that Bind, Dead on Arrival, All That's Left, Answering the Call, and Exiting the Stage.

    Thus far Cure to Evil, Ties that Bind and Dead on Arrival are finished, Exiting the Stage is anywhere between being 50% and 66% done, and Answering the Call is on hold until I finish All That's Left.

    Izuku Midoriya always dreamed of becoming a superhero. Of fighting supervillains and saving people with a superpower to call his own. Except, the world he was born into was one devoid of superpowers. The Japan he lived in was not one of capes, masks and catchprases, but one of post-war chaos, collapsing economy and police struggling to maintain even vestiges of control over the cities in the wake of a raise in criminal activity and collapse in funding.

    It was a dream that couldn't come to fruition. A dream born of escapism, desire to help others and a weak health that together with Bakugou Katsuki killed all of his potentially achievable dreams. Something that Izuku himself was aware of. It was a fantasy that made the world a bit more bearable as days, months and years passed in a blurry. Nothing more.

    Everything changed when Izuku Midoriya awoke a genuine superpower. Dawn of Quirks has began, and with it, the age of supervillains and superheroes. As the society around him slowly collapses, Izuku will do his best to save as many people as he can. Despite the world of superheroes being way more complicated, dangerous and painful than he ever imagined.

    "My plan was to get more crazy with my plans for Mei until eventually, it went up to murder, in which case you would be like 'Oh no! Me being his temporary guardian is a much better alternative to him ending up in jail for manslaughter!'. And if that didn't work out I would start crying, maybe steal a couple tragic backstory plot lines from Marvel, and guilt trip you into thinking 'Oh no again! Me being his guardian is better than him hiring a man named Ben to pretend to be his uncle and die on the street from a bullet wound!'. And if that didn't work... I memorized the lyrics and choreography to 'Hard Knock Life' from the 1976 musical Annie. I think you can guess what my goal for that was,"

    Or: Aizawa never seems to get a break from the pressure that comes with working with Nezu, now more than ever as the new vice principal of UA.
