    It is mid December, the day has been a grey, rainy and foggy thing, and it’s been dark for hours even though it’s only seven p.m.
    Temperatures have been dropping all week, and it’s just started snowing when there’s a quiet knock at the door.

    Kiyoomi almost trips over his own feet in his hurry to get to it, blanket still wrapped around him, his thick fuzzy socks slippery on the wooden floor.

    His eyes widen in surprise when he opens the door. On the other side of the threshold stands Miya Atsumu, eyes red and puffy, only wearing a t-shirt and a thin jacket, shaking pathetically. He glances up at Kiyoomi and looks so miserable that his own heart breaks a little.

    “Omi. I-” he tries, voice breaking. “Sorry, I didn’t know where else to go.”
