When Kusuo Saiki learns of his latest crush, he's not sure what to do. Normally he would dismiss it entirely and set about avoiding that person, but this was no ordinary crush... and that person was far from ordinary.
A small Saiki x Kaidou piece that I REALLY wanted to work on after watching season one of the show!
The AU isn't really an AU besides some minor tweaks and not conforming to canonical events. Saiki has all his powers besides being able to see through people's skin and likability readings.A big thank you to @B0nwari for the art, you are truly amazing!

It isn't supposed to be like this. Witchers aren't supposed to feel like this. He's failed, as he always does, and now he's riddled with the ridiculous, cloying scent of buttercups. He aches, a little, somewhere deep, thinking of them destroyed.
He lifts his foot and the petals are unrecognizable in the dirt. There's a sudden, acute stab of pain in his chest, his heart clenching at the sight. He ignores it, as always.

Julian opened his mouth to ask more and was hit by a pain he had never experienced. The boy cried out in pain and doubled over, arm wrapping around his screaming middle. His mother shushed him and pet at him until he was able to catch his breath.
“See what happens to naughty little boys who don’t listen?” Her voice was sharp. “I told you not to say anything.”

Summary
Geralt never asked for help. It was how he was raised. He got used to never having anyone around to help him, or rather someone who wanted to help him. No one wanted to be around a witcher any longer than they had to be, and Geralt just got used to it. It didn't bother him, or at least that's what he told himself.
