There isn't a doubt in his mind that Athena has at least the beginnings of a plan in mind to get Buck back or she wouldn't be here, breaking protocol by telling him this in the first place. But she suddenly looks unsure if she should say anything more.
"I need to know you're not going to do anything stupid," she says after a moment.
The thing is, whatever it takes, Eddie intends to bring Buck home. To him, nothing is stupid, nothing is off the table.
He'll burn the goddamn world to the ground, if that's what it takes.
