Summary

But what if this future could be avoided? Eleven decided to do something incredibly risky: attempting to send someone's mind back in time. They will be equipped with the knowledge to help change this future so that it does not come to pass.

Written before season 5 came out, I have not seen it. Huge canon divergence to essentially pull an "x-men, days of future past". Contains pretty intense suffering and torture, both typical of the show and worse. Written initially as a fix-it AU so I can bring back characters I like. Tags will be updated ad fic progresses.
