Summary
In one life does Marina Valenheart lose her family to gain another in adventure, to travel the world and to the very edge of creation, and to endure untold darkness to protect the star she calls home. In another life does time take a different path, does her family remain, and the adventure loom in the distance. Another life she may taste, but may not keep.
And here we find one Warrior of Light exchanged with another, throwing both lives into uncertainty. While the Scions we know care for a Marina innocent of the dangers that lie in her future, the Marina we know discovers what she could have had. She has a chance to alter that life's path, but what it will cost, and whether it's right, are questions she may not be ready to answer.
Thus does time conspire to bend these fates from their undue course
