Solas rationalizing himself into terrible, delicious decisions. Would happily read 50k more of this story. Very well done

    Summary

Despite his reclusive tendencies, Viago De Riva was more than familiar enough with the Cantori Diamond to know there were two entrances: the street-level archway for patrons and guests, and the rooftop-level door for Crows. If he felt slightly less welcome to the latter entryway on this particular visit, he chose to ignore that.

A regret demon mirrors/gloms onto Varric after seeing him in the realm of the Nightmare, very interesting concept, lots of angst and lots of ache with a happy ending

    Summary

He blacks out, or something, because the next thing Varric knows he’s at his desk with Bran standing over him
with a pinched look on his face.
    “I got a kid.”
Bran’s face somehow pinches further. “Like, from a store?”
Varric whacks his head against his desk.

The kid OC is everything, and kid fics aren't even my thing. Varric and Hawke raise Bartrand's kid. Well-paced and moving

    Summary

Hawke remembered a time before he'd known Varric was a writer.

Back then, he hadn't understood the meaning of the peculiar, inquisitive tilt of Varric's head and the glittering focus of his eyes and the slow movement of his hands over his jaw where any sensible dwarf would have a beard. He'd thought Varric was just watchful, observant for the sake of being so.

Now, he knew Varric was taking notes.

Five stories Varric never wrote, and one story he did.

    Bookmarker's Notes

The trick with the spider cracks me up every time. Excellent close POV where we have an idea about what's going through Varric's head, but Hawke sure doesn't
