Following the events of the Twilight and the Great War, peace has once more settled over the Empire. With Cedric leaving his family and country behind, Alfin now shoulders a burden she didn't expect to carry.
To add further weight on her shoulders, her 18th birthday is coming up and rumors are starting to spread that a coming union of her and Rean is to be expected soon.
Meanwhile Rean and Alfin have confessed their feelings for each other and are, to all but the public, a couple. But since one does not "date" a crown princess in the Empire, Rean has to enact a plan that will make it possible for him to properly help Alfin with her new duties going forward.
