Expecting to have a some what "normal" return to his post, his night is quickly interrupted by a certain red dressed mercenary who may not be ready to go their separate ways just yet.

Summary
Leon Scott Kennedy has spent far too much of his short life wondering how he might die. But none of the scenarios he'd imagined involved waking up in an Umbrella laboratory miles beneath the Atlantic Ocean. His day only gets weirder from there.
Things start looking up when he comes face-to-face with a beautiful woman in a red dress who looks far too comfortable with a gun in her hand. It's clear Ada Wong knows more about him than she's letting on.
Too soon, Leon is faced with a choice: hand himself over to the authorities like a good rookie cop or embark on an impossible mission across the United States to reunite with his missing friends and avenge the city he'd once called 'home'.
He's too crazy to not choose option B.
But Leon and his new lady friend aren't the only ones looking for Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. Pursued across the East Coast by remnants of Umbrella, an invincible superman, a truck salesman with a grudge, a man with an infinite supply of bibles, and an assortment of personal demons, the two fugitives find that the scariest thing about the whole ordeal is how it's bringing them closer and closer together.

Ada pressed a hand against the glass door, her palm caressing the wavering shape of Leon's cheek. She knew better, was trained to always be better, but she wanted to relent and abide in this unconventional union. How laughable it was that she could brave the tempest of blood and horror but could not face the truth of her treacherous, beating heart.
There would be no fight tonight, not between the two of them, and not within herself. She would not run.
“Ada.” The shower door slid aside only a crack, revealing a solemn blue eye.
