Atsushi nods in favor of speaking, trying his best to ignore how much fuzzier his head feels from that pet name. Dazai was always able to read his mind, and honestly, it was impressive every time.

Dazai smiles down at him with that same air of cockiness he usually had. Atsushi just cocks his head. But then his hand is being held again, and his racing heart begins to return to a steady rhythm. Now lidded eyes stare up at the taller man, who is still smiling.
His gaze seems to be filled with fondness, and it makes Atsushi feel as though he were sitting beneath a kotatsu in the dead of winter.
“—this helps, doesn’t it? You need me right now, isn’t that right?”

“Thank you for trusting me, Gumi,” Yuuji says, leaning down and getting in between Megumi and the piercing kit on the desk. When Megumi stops what he’s doing and looks at him, Yuuji beams. He knows what a big sucker Megumi is for his cheek-hurting smiles and he will always take advantage of this fact. Now that he has Megumi’s full attention, he’ll try to get some answers.
“Why’d you wanna pierce your ears anyway?” He asks. Megumi’s eyes travel to Yuuji’s ears for a second before narrowing. He brings his hands to Yuuji’s cheeks and Yuuji grins again, expecting a kiss. His eyes flutter close and he tries to lean into Megumi. He hears the other boy scoff and opens his eyes just as Megumi pinches his cheeks.
