    This is a story (told from different sides) about the legend of Lady Godiva and how the phrase ‘peeping Tom’ may have entered the lexicon.

    (The idea of a peeping Tom was that of a man named Thomas who almost saw the lady Godiva riding naked, covered only by her hair. He was nearly struck dead, certainly struck blind, by the experience, a.k.a. A very jealous Angel may or may not have popped him over the head with a sword, but Thomas was quite all right.)
