Summary
The day Max Verstappen broke his collarbone had been so breathtakingly beautiful, he would have never been able to guess what was about to happen. But one second of distraction could suddenly cost his entire career.
Charles Leclerc had no business leaving his family behind to ski in the French Alps, but anxiety had driven him there, only for him to be the one to find Max completely out of it, lying in the snow.
If it was Fate or complete Tragedy, neither could tell as they were forced to spend the rest of the winter break together, stuck in a winter storm. Their proximity became the one thing Max could lean against while he tried to work on his recovery away from any true professional help (there was no way he would risk missing the first races of the next season.)
The only thing he knew was that Charles slowly put him back together, stitching even the oldest of wounds. And perhaps his Christmas wouldn't be so cold after all.

Summary
Max leaned back into the wide leather seat, the hum of the engines of AirMax a steady backdrop, and tightened his arm around Charles, who had half-slid into his lap like it was the most natural thing in the world.
It was warm, comfortable... dangerously so. Bahrain would be another story. Three days of testing, cameras everywhere, journalists dissecting every expression, the FIA waiting for any excuse. But here, at thirty thousand feet, Max allowed himself the indulgence of pressing a slow kiss into Charles’ hair.

Max and Charles have gone public, ready to face preseason testing in Bahrain hand in hand. It should be a milestone, a new chapter, maybe even a little romantic. Instead, it turns into a three–day circus where the entire grid seems determined to thirdwheel them at every possible moment. Between unsolicited advice and badly timed interruptions, privacy becomes the rarest commodity in the paddock.

Max rigs the entire deck just to watch Charles lose ten rounds in a row.Suddenly it’s dares, screaming, betting pools, blindfolds, sabotage, Charles on the verge of spontaneous combustion, Carlos threatening homicide, and Max being so smug it should be illegal.
It’s fine.
It’s totally fine.
Nothing could possibly go wrong when the entire paddock decides to bully one very flustered Monegasque into admitting feelings he absolutely refuses to see.Max? He’s just enjoying the show.

Summary
Championship night was supposed to end with champagne, media quotes and a polite amount of denial. Instead, Max wins his fifth title by a single point and spends the entire race and the entire afterparty painfully aware that the only reason he’s even still in the fight is wearing Ferrari red and defended like his life depends on it.
Charles just wanted to do his job, keep Lando behind and get through the night without making a fool of himself over the newly crowned world champion he’s been half in love with since karting. But the paddock won’t stop calling him “minister of defence” and “Max’s teammate”, Max won’t stop looking at him like he’s already something more, and one almost-fall at the bar turns into dancing way too close, hands where they shouldn’t be, and an invitation upstairs that sounds suspiciously like a confession.
