It started with a small twinge in his stomach. It was barely noticable, just enough that Mikey thought maybe he was just hungry. It would make sense, seeing as how he hadn't had much of an appetite all day. He opted to just ignore it for now, until they got back to the lair. They were getting close to done with patrol anyway, and he didn't have the energy to deal with his siblings making fun of him for wanting to bail.

To say Leo is struggling is the understatement of the century. His youngest is dead and his other two brothers seem hell bent on self-destructing in the wake of Mikey's shocking suicide. Donnie has locked himself in the barn and hasn’t reemerged since the funeral and Raph refuses to leave Mikey’s grave for any reason other than a bathroom break.
Leo's just trying to keep the rest of his family alive while they process this unexpected tragedy and navigate through the stages of grief.
