Summary

The awakening was a pivotal moment in history when a baby was born in Qingqing, China, who had the ability to illuminate light, bringing light to the existence of quirks. As the use of quirks became more common, the presence of natural psychics dwindled, being replaced by quirk users.
Psychics still exist, but they often hide their abilities by posing as quirk users to avoid drawing attention to themselves. One such psychic is Kusuo Saiki. He was born with a range of psychic abilities, making him the most powerful man on earth. Kusuo has the power to read minds, teleport, move objects with his mind, and many other abilities. However, he doesn't want to be so powerful. All he desires is a normal, peaceful life.
What if he come to a realization and finally chooses to become a hero?

Summary
Saiki Kusuo was a very average person with a very average quirk. The incredibly vague power "Psychic Abilities" let him do some mild telekinesis, and project his voice so others could hear him. Incredibly normal, and incredibly weak.
There was absolutely no way for him to pass the UA test on purpose, let alone by mistake.
I just have to destroy 2 or 3, and I'll go to Gen Ed instead. Losing is easy. Kusuo reassured himself as he ran towards the robot infested street. A boy with an oddly rock shaped head was crouched in the alley he was taking, whispering to the floor.
What's that guy doing? Kusuo wondered, glancing over as he jogged lightly by. Can he talk to rocks-?
Cockroaches started scuttling out of the sewer drain.
CRUNCH.
Kusuo froze, slowly turning his head to see the entire street of robots in front of him had turned into scrap metal.
Maybe they won't know it's me. He thought desperately.
"Saiki Kusuo, 42 points!" Present Mic cheered over the intercom.
Fuck.
Of course, Kusuo had always excelled at defying all rationality.

Izuku stared down at the candle in his hand. The wax was melting around the base and warming his hand through the paper cover. It might not be burning, but he wished it was. He didn’t want to be here. Actually, that was a lie, he wanted to be here but he wished this was a regular monthly meeting instead of a vigil. This was the third vigil he’d been to this year, and it was only February.
Last night, a six year old girl named Asami Sato took her life by swallowing a bottle of her mother’s pills. She did this only two hours after her own mother told her she should never have been born.
Asami Sato was born quirkless. She was six, and had not developed a quirk at four like the majority of the population.
Now, Asami Sato was an Orchid. A beautiful, fleeting memory.

OR: Izuku is quirkless, and All Might doesn't see his potential for heroics. His last effort to become a hero gets him accepted into UA as the first quirkless student - but the universe just keeps trying to break his spirit.
