“Wake up!! Alfred made pancakes!” An excited voice yelled into Bruce’s ear. He didn’t startle awake, already far too used to going through this. “Let me guess, mama sent you?” Bruce mumbled, pulling his head away from his pillow to look at Jason. The eight-year old gave a firm nod with his hands on his hips and a large grin on his lips. The boy’s face quickly switched to shock as Bruce wrapped his arms around him and pulled him down to lay down. “No! Dick will eat my pancakes!” Jason complained, trying to squirm out of Bruce’s hold as the other man pretended to fall back asleep.
“I’m just so tired, Jay. Keep me company a little longer.” Bruce says dramatically, his head falling back against the pillow as he pretends to sleep once more. Jason laughs, pushing at Bruce’s arms. “No, let me go dad! Hurry or there will be no more pancakes left!” He complains

Summary
The Isle is cold, unforgiving- an entirely decrepit place to reside in. It’s how it was designed to be, a punishment bestowed on all the villains in the lands for their heinous crimes. No one expects them to have children, no one expects them not to love their children.
But they don’t and the children pay the price.
Mal of the Moors and others are invited by Crown Prince Ben to attend Auradon Prep for a whole year but they’ve had to fight every day to survive and aren’t in a hurry to forget that fact.
The citizens and royals of Auradon quickly find themselves face to face with those who had to shoulder the burden of their mistakes.
Or in other words: You can take the kids out of the Isle but you can’t take the Isle out of the kids.

Summary
It’s undeniable that these two had sparks flying with their lack of personal space and flirty banter, and maybe that was just the Domas coming through, but I can’t help but adore this ruthless and amazing couple. So here’s a Descendants fanfic dedicated to them, and to Harry showing Mal that she doesn’t have to change or pretend to deserve love.
Harry is part of the next group of VKs to arrive at Auradon Prep, but he and Mal have a past- one that both heals and hurts. Mal has been fading away after so much time being forced to deny who she really is, when Harry shows up will he be able to get over the hurt she’d caused? Will he be able to help her realize there’s nothing wrong with the fierce rule breaker Mal truly is, or will he stay angry and watch as society breaks her?
