Alder didn’t move, nor did she say anything. She only stood there, panting hard, glaring into the wide eyes of her Cadet. There were things they needed to discuss, it seemed. Tally unraveled her scourge and held it with a slight uncertainty in her hands. Alder narrowed her eyes just as Tally brought her hands up in a fighting stance.
If they needed to let out their frustrations this way in order for a productive conversation to occur, then so be it.
Or
Their link never severed and they're feeling more from one another than they care to. Tally wants to find a solution while Sarah wants to blatantly ignore it—and her.

Two months after the Camarilla attack on Fort Salem and General Alder's death, life at Fort Salem finally seemed to be getting back to normal; for everyone except one Tally Craven.
