Summary
The siblings time-traveled to 3 months before their dad's funeral and managed to stop the apocalypse. Now they're trying to continue living their lives as they would've if none of that had ever happened, making a few important changes along the way. One of those changes involved Diego not dropping out of police training and becoming a full-time cop with a squad he'd trained alongside ever since he first moved out of the Academy. However, now the siblings are closer together and don't only see each other at weddings or funerals, how will Diego's cop squad react when they finally meet Diego's family?

"If you die I'm not going to be responsible for this, you look old enough to make your own shitty decisions," he decisively says and Hitoshi winces in mock-outrage.
"Ouch. You don't think my eyebags are sexy?"
"Can't say I do. Are you going to fucking pay or will it be anything else?"
Wow, rude is an understatement, Hitoshi thinks but he finally does get out his wallet, eying the display. The barista put in fifteen shots of espresso which—is a lot more than Hitoshi usually gets and maybe, just maybe he'll have to come back here.
For the coffee of course, not for the exceedingly rude service.
That decision solidifies when he takes his first sip and even though that's a lot of caffeine it's also strangely the best thing he's ever tasted in his life and yep.
Hitoshi will have to be a regular here.

"I think we can agree that I'm a bit of an idiot, right?" Hitoshi puts out there, because Katsuki is fond of calling him that sometimes and it's true, Hitoshi knows it is.
So it doesn't make sense to him when Katsuki frowns.
"Depends on the situation. You're not an idiot when it comes to work. You're not even an idiot when it comes to your friends and family. You're only an idiot when it's about yourself," he says with suspicion. "Are you being an idiot about yourself?"
"Ehm—yes," Hitoshi admits and Katsuki's gaze blazes with anger.

Hitoshi watches Bakugo put someone in their place, his voice cutting and angry, his eyes sparking almost just as much as his hands, and he doesn't like the warmth that starts in his chest and then pools low in his stomach.
That is not good at all, Hitoshi thinks, and he's proven right when Bakugo whirls around to him and narrows his eyes.
"The fuck are you still doing here, eyebags? You want to get yelled at, too?" he almost growls out and for one, horrible, embarrassing moment he wants to blurt out "Yes" before he clams down on the urge.
