Лист з дому? Від його родини? Ну що ж, Гаррі Поттер знає, що не має ні того, ні іншого, але все одно події починаються з листа. Нема жодної різниці, що саме хочуть сказати Дурслі, та це точно буде щось неприємне, тому він планує його ігнорувати. Але коли майстер настоянок змушує його прочитати лист, хлопець іде по такому життєвому шляху, який би ніколи для себе не обрав.
Це буде рік великих змін, сильного болю і часом, коли Гаррі протистоїть своїм найбільшим страхам.
Але неочікувано він отримає шанс мати те, чого ніколи не знав - родину.Події фанфіку відбуваються на шостому курсі, тобто події відбуваються після “Ордена фенікса”, ігноруючи будь-які каноні події в подальшому.

Гаррі втомився від школи, війни і схожого на змію психопата. Хлопець не знає, що він хоче, але щоб це не було, досягти цього, схоже, неможливо. Випадкові погляди за завісу упереджень показують, що все набагато складніше, ніж здається і як це часто буває, знаходиться доволі далеко для її розуміння, але достатньо близько, щоб наблизитись до нього.

Summary
Severus, for all of his genuine faults and less genuine appearances, does not condone any child coming to harm. It results in men like him.~~~
Severus is called to check on Harry after the mess of the end of his First Year, and to have Petunia call him a freak right out of the gate is far from encouraging. To then find the boy curled up in a corner of a locked room only confirms things.
Severus takes Harry away from that abominable place without hesitation, and perhaps even wins enough of his trust to be asked to take him in by the end of it all.
