Summary
The following excerpt was taken from the journals of Lady Roxanne Dayne during the reign of King Viserys I:
—Amara Hightower, had been the third daughter of Otto Hightower by his second wife, Aynara Tyrrel. The young woman was beautiful, so much so that the people of King's Landing had dubbed her "The Rose of Oldtown." She had been Queen Aemma's lady, or rather, her ward, since the age of seven. If the Arryn woman was at one side, it was likely that the young Hightower would be at her side, which made the red-haired girl become attached to the queen and, thus, to the rest of the royal family.
"First the yellow dragon, then the red dragon and finally the blue-green dragons. The Rose surrounded by dragons, ready to breathe fire for her."
—Helaena Targaryen to Alicent Hightower

Princess Vaena was different from her siblings, she had inherited her mother's Andal appearance (to the Queen's chagrin) and she did not have a dragon, but she was a sweet and charming young woman, a joy to her old father, so when at a dinner the King asks her to use dragonstone to carry a message to her half-sister, she does not hesitate and accepts, not knowing the web of lust she would end up in at the hands of Rhaenyra and her husband.

Summary
Princess Alysanne II Targaryen was the only daughter of King Viserys I Targaryen and his second wife, Queen Consort Alicent Hightower, whom the King seemed to love. Mushroom says in one of his tales that wherever the King went, he always took his youngest daughter with him, this being what the Jester and Septon Eustace agreed on in their writings, the King's love for his youngest daughter was equal to or greater than his love for his eldest daughter, the Heiress and Princess, Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Something that could also be said of the young Princess Alysanne was that her love for her father was also infinite, the young princess loved her father deeply, so, when she reaches the age of understanding things and notices that her grandfather, Lord Hand and other Lords try to go over her father's word, planning to usurp her half-sister's right to give it to Aegon, who seemed anything but a worthy heir to the Iron Throne, the young girl decides that she will do everything possible to prevent that event, even eliminate part of her own family if necessary.
