Summary
Not soon after Diluc came back from his rampage through Snezhnaya, Kaeya started to feel a slight tingle in the back of his throat. An itch, like those he got before coming down with a cold. It was a bit unusual, after all it was summer and no one around him was sick, but he tried to write it off as standing in the rain for too long while on a mission. He'd just drink some warm tea each morning and then everything would be fine.
But it wasn’t fine.

“You’re twenty four,” Kaeya supplied, “I believe you’re missing about six years of memories.”
Diluc whirled around, gaping. “How?” The one agonizing question was all he could manage.
Kaeya gave a shrug, “I’m not sure. Like I said, everyone else who was affected only lost a few memories. But... you must have been different.”
“Not that!” Diluc snapped, “How did I change this much in six years? I look... completely different. I feel more like I’m twenty years older- What happened?”After losing six years of memories, Diluc finds himself in an unfamiliar body, the dynamics of people he thought he knew flipped on their head, and Mondstadt itself more confusing than ever. Luckily he has his brother by his side to guide him through these challenges. At least Kaeya is a constant in his life that will never change no matter how many years pass.
