    Another ten minutes passed and Giyuu almost dozed off once again, but before doing so he felt an enraged aura to his left and something creeping into his lap, curling around his hands.
    Blinking into awareness, Giyuu gaped at the white scaled and red eyed serpent in his lap. Kaburamaru, as Giyuu overheard once a while back, sat curled around his forearms; forked tongue flicking against his hands.

    Slowly, the ravenette turned to stare in apprehension at the serpent's master, who almost radiated with betrayal.

    “Traitor.” Iguro whispered, fists clenched around the pants of his lavender-tinted uniform, bi-colored eyes locked on to the snake.

    “What the hell are you doing, Tomioka?” He grits out, trying to stop his voice from quivering. He stands, waiting for a response. The girl purses her glossy lips, eyes flitting up from the ground to look directly at him.

    “It’s cold out.” Tomioka says in that airy, passive tone; like nothing in the world matters except her own sorrow.

    Brilliant.

    His mouth is open to respond when Kanroji speaks up, distracting him momentarily. Obanai allows Tomioka to smooth out the fabric around his shoulders, and he’ll admit that maybe her oversized, especially on him, haori is really warm. Whatever.

    Or, it’s the middle of winter and Obanai is cold! What kind of solution will Mitsuri and Giyuu cook up to remedy this situation?
