The bartender winks at Steve when he slides his drink over, extra wedge of lime on top (which causes Steve to blush like a fucking virgin, and he hates himself for it). What is it about this guy that flusters him so easily? Maybe it's the effortless way he rules his domain behind the bar; confident and boisterous, his clever, dextrous fingers skimming the bottles as he pulls them from the shelves to mix drinks.
