"What the hell was that?"
"Nothing- I tripped!" Jihoon protests, getting to his feet and sheathing his stake.
"On thin air?" Soonyoung scoffs, pulling his boyfriend closer to help him wipe some of the dirt and dry leaves off his uniform.
Sometimes Soonyoung loves the way Jihoon shows his affection by doing these little acts nobody would notice unless they're paying careful attention. And who is Soonyoung if not completely devoted to Jihoon? So of course, he notices, appreciates.
Sometimes though... sometimes Soonyoung wants Jihoon to use his words. Sometimes Soonyoung wants Jihoon to stop slowing down so he could catch up. Sometimes he wants Jihoon to remember he can dominate him in other ways.
Jihoon keeps humbling himself, thinking Soonyoung might feel insecure about his achievement as a royal guardian, letting him catch his strigoi, but Jihoon forgets Soonyoung's capable of defeating him in other ways. Tonight, Soonyoung will remind him.

Summary

Summary
Control is one of Chan's strong suit. Back pin straight, he can concentrate enough to flip through books, write down essays, whilst simultaneously indulging himself by drawing something sweet and therapeutic (per-request of his therapist). All accomplished through telekinesis, of course. Still, mutation never came easy. And with equal measures effort and tenacity, Chan still finds himself failing simple tasks. Comparing that to his brother's achievements... well, he'd rather not think about it.
