Fairy Tales end with “And They Lived Happily Ever After,” but real life is “One Season Following Another, Laden with Happiness and Tears.”
I started this series on the old Harry Potter Fan Fiction site. It is being proofread and updated as I am reposting it here. I noticed when I started how many writers promised a nineteen-year story, and how very few finished it. This series is well into Albus’s years at Hogwarts.
I have tried to make it canon compliant to the first seven books. I do include the twelve grandchildren of Molly and the two children of Luna, per Rowling.
I do enjoy conversations with readers, and have revised and corrected sections because of reader’s comments. Thank you for kudo’s. They and reviews are the only compensation that us writers of fan fiction receive.

Colours swirl like a stirred potion in a cauldron. Draco stands there, a grey, hazy ghost in the midst of everything. Even in the dream, his throat burns, and he fights the urge to cough. He wonders if it will be any different from hacking up a petal when he’s awake, and he gets his answer when he feels the soft leaf drift out of his lungs.
Someone is laughing as Draco coughs.

Draco’s mother always said there was a fine line between love and hate. Apparently, his flowers think so too.

Summary
