Gillion wasn't a human. Chip knew that.
Of course Chip wasn't mad about it. Why would he? I mean he's come to accept and in many cases understand the small quirks that Gill had due to growing up in the undersea. That being said, he still didn't understand a lot of what Gillion considers to be normal or tradition. But he tries. He asks questions, he's patient, ect ect. Sometimes though things were just, a little too weird for him to wrap his head around.
“So, you have no idea why he set these here?” Jay asks, looking over the many, many, *many* necklaces strewn across Chip’s bed.

But every so often he would see Will hug Tide, or see all the others get into a cuddle puddle and something in him just, pulled.
The others never hugged him. He had told them early on that it just wasn't something he was comfortable with.

Summary
Hermitcraft is supposed to be a safe haven, a place for people who were outcasted from the world to live their life freely, no matter who or what they were. It was a place for those to take shelter, a place for them to be themselves, a place that was supposed to be a sanctuary.
It just so happens that most of its residents are running from humans
And it just so happens that one of its residents is a human.
