    But then he knew. Sweet, Zenitsu thought. He heard the most sweet, serenading beat he ever heard. It was such a kind, affectionate noise, that Zenitsu almost forgot himself. Instead of the cheering crowds, the shattering bass, or even Aoi’s screams, Zenitsu just heard the kind, affection heartbeat of the Idol. And when Tanjiro came, with eyes of fondness, Zenitsu knew. Kind, was what the idol was.
    It wasn't even Tanjiro's appearance that drew him in, but the kind, soft cadence of his heart. It wasn't love at first sight, but love at first song.
