"Please…" The word was a ragged whisper, torn from lips cracked and dry. "Please be okay." He wasn’t sure who he begged – the indifferent moon or the silent gods. On any other night, the rustle of leaves, the snap of twigs under unseen paws, the frantic scramble of nocturnal creatures fleeing his passage would have sent him spiraling into a whimpering ball of terror. Not tonight. Tonight, something else drowned out the forest’s symphony of dread. Tears pricked his eyes, blurring the streaking trees into smears of shadow.
The boy. The one who called him friend. Slumped unnaturally against the massive, gnarled roots of an ancient oak. His head lolled at an angle that made Zenitsu’s own breath catch in his throat. The familiar green and black checkered pattern of his haori was stained dark with patches of wetness that gleamed dully in the moonlight. Mud was caked thickly on one side of his face, obscuring his features. One arm lay limply at his side, the other bent at an angle that looked… wrong.

Main jist of the story (as I haven't written a summery nore completed the plot);
Nezuko winds up in Gotham and has to endure everything thrown at her whilst trying to come to terms with everything. Also, she gets 'adopted' in secret.Trust me when I say, I will make this fic AMAZING (hopefully.. maybe..). If im lucky, the first chapter should be out sometime next year (in a few months).
