Summary
Coming to the conclusion that Valentino might have been drugging him with his venom for the past twelve years, Vox flees to the Hazbin Hotel to collect his thoughts. An injured Alastor is less-than-pleased to see him, but Vox begins remembering fragments of a past he didn't realise he'd forgotten and he's shocked to learn that he once had a very close relationship with his enemy.
The memories come to him faster and faster and soon, Vox realises just how much Valentino stole from him. Alastor isn't as carefully composed as he makes out and things quickly get complicated when past feelings resurface.
And then there's that whole mess with the chain around Alastor's neck. It turns out that the Radio Demon isn't as cold-hearted as everyone thinks, especially when it comes to a certain Television Demon.

The two would measure the time they had silently until Papyrus would return before turning and glaring at one another, eyes narrow slits of dangerous color, Sans’ ruling the match, glowing blue orbs emitting dangerous smoke, Mettaton holding his ground with piercing pink eyes that threatened to shoot lasers, fingers clutching the couch cushions, manicured black nails ripping the fabric, holding him back from lunging and fist fighting with the short monster.
This time, however, Papyrus had forgotten an ingredient and ran out of the house, heading for a different village completely. They had at least an hour to kill. Literally.

He walked into the classroom and Hizashi threw himself over his desk immediately, greeting him a good morning and babbling about what he figured they’d be doing in class that day. Shouta came up behind him and rested his arms against his shoulders, burying his chin into Oboro’s hair.
“Good morning,” he said softly. He’d probably already closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep for the last few moments that he could before they had to go back to their seats and pay attention to class.
By all means, it should be a good morning.

And what had he done?
He’d nodded and agreed like the good little hero he was.
And maybe it wasn't the mission that made him sick, but they way the Commission - those who had raised him - showed no care for his career goals, values, or desire to see age 25 without a scandal. Maybe Hawks had always been a little bit sick of the bird cage they held him in.
