Summary
With Christmas coming up, Cole had been worried about how his father would react to him asking to bring Kai along so he and his father could officially meet. To his surprise, Lou had agreed rather easily. Despite his father's acceptance, the image of his father's confused and unsure face at the Ninjago Talent show circled his thoughts; his anxiety ate away at him reassuring him his father was more than disappointed in Cole's choices.
Come to find, there was really nothing to be worried about at all.
Takes place after the destruction of the mega weapon in season two, and before the revival of the stone army warriors.

Summary
Keith Kogane has never been good with words, since his dad’s death he’s been in and out of foster homes until Shiro managed to convince the courts to let him take Keith in. Keith adjusted to the more open and loving household, new to being able to express himself. Spending all his time on his brother’s boyfriend’s old drum set and guitar that Adam doesn’t even remember the name of. As long as Keith PROMISED to keep his music in the garage. Keith could do that, making his own little sanctuary in the mess of Shiro’s old motorcycles, random car parts and unfinished projects. Keith however, never imagined his late nights of scribbling heartfelt lyrics and cords he learned twenty minutes ago onto the back of his math homework would get him accepted into a private school for rich music kids. Drowning in college classes supposedly made for high schoolers, he wonders if the music is really worth it.
But Keith’s never been great at letting things go has he?Inspired by I_Was_Crashing_Into_The_Sun’s Finding Strength in the Strings. It’s on hiatus but it’s amazing story and you should totally read it.
