“Those white girl, pumpkin spice lattes, annoy me!” Lance continued while laughing, trying to sell his lie as best as he could.
“I’m in love.” Keith joked back, but Lance's heart skipped a bit, as if the barista actually meant it. Lance smiled even wider to conceal his nervousness. “Name?” Keith asked with a small smile.
Lance tucked a loose strand of hair behind his ear - he really needed to get a haircut - and fluttered his eyelashes at Keith. He was cute, and Lance was not afraid to shoot his shot. Especially not now, after abstaining from his favorite seasonal beverage in order to impress Keith. He licked his lips while putting on a slightly sultry expression, before giving the barista his answer.
“Señor Awesome." And with a wink, Lance effectively made Keith's eyes widen, as he stared at him in disbelief.

Lance is a fall enthusiast through and through, but he really wants to impress his cool barista. A little white lie won’t hurt, right?

It's not like his family hasn't met Keith, per say, but a quick introduction amidst the Galra invasion isn't quiiiiite enough time to really get to know somebody.
They knew him from afar as the Black Paladin, the Fearless Leader of Voltron, and maybe, the guy who Lance went to school with. (The one he was a tad obsessed with.)
They just haven't met Keith as…well…
Lance's boyfriend.
