Summary
Things haven't been easy after Vance escaped from The Grabber's basement. Far from it. He wasn't the same as he used to be and everyone in North Denver knew it. His anger was white-hot and sparking but died just as quickly as it would spring up. It only got worse when people wouldn't leave him alone and eventually his father got tired of dealing with him. That and he had put four college boys in the ICU. A call was given to an uncle Vance had never met and a few hours later he was on a plane to Hawkins, Indiana.
Where he could have had the space and time that he needed to come back to himself. Could have had the family and love that he needed. But that wasn't he got.
