But now, in the face of a tragedy that would haunt both gods for the rest of their immortal lives, they realize that things need to change.

The touch feels soft and warm against his skin, and despite not having a fever yet, Damian feels his cheeks warm before he pushes Jon’s hand away.
“Let me guess, you volunteered to play doctor,” Damian says dryly and Jon smiles coyly as if that is answer enough.
It is.
Damian’s eyes soften and he briefly wonders if emotional impairment is also part of the symptoms.
