Clancy has known Dema his whole life, it was always the same. No color, no light, worship, repeat and ceremonies..
Being under Nico’s district and being one of his most prized students, he was always under his watch. Being stained very early on.. he knew he was Nico’s.
Dema, the place where creativity was dimmed, and squashed like a bug, Clancy had nothing. Clancy had always been proud to be Nico’s but, there was always a longing of leaving, maybe just maybe he could leave and come back later right? No.. he must remain faithful to his Bishop.
But one ominous night, he saw them again.. the rebels.
Every night once a month, the rebels would enter one of the districts, and this time it just had to be Nico’s.
While all the citizens feared for their lives, and knew to hide, Clancy prayed to be taken away. -
