Summary
Nearly dead after a horrific battle, Catra and Adora find themselves in an uninhabited house in the Whispering Woods, with no choice but to stay there together and heal. They quickly realize, however, that the house is not all that it seems.
As time passes, Catra and Adora are forced to face the mysteries of the past, and worse—they have to face their feelings that were ignored for years.

Summary
Catra had imagined lots of scenarios for her first bus ride to school. Annoying people screaming on the seats around of her, getting kicked out by the bus driver for punching a random guy (wouldn’t be the first time), or whatever other torture school buses could provide.
She never imagined she’d be listening to Taylor Swift and sharing earphones with a complete stranger. A very cute stranger. And nothing felt weird or awkward., like if Adora and Catra had known each other for a long time already. Maybe the universe wasn’t so mean after all.

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
