Bo-Katan rapidly rose through the ranks after Pre Vizsla was killed by Darth Maul. But she still was not allowed to become Death Watch Overlord. Leadership was left to a Mandalorian Commander, Lorka Gedyc of House Gedyc. Longtime Death Watch house since the days of its founding in Mandalorian culture. But he also had ulterior motive, which Bo-Katan unwittingly got involved when she found Obi-Wan Kenobi and begged him to help her salvage a brand new Separatists Recusant Prototype ship silent in a grave shipyard. Her bond to Kenobi was unbreakable and now, unchangeable. Bo-Katan either leaves her Mandalorian heritage behind and join a new fight, or stay and rebuild though the Empire will destroy them.
