    Steve Rogers thought his world was already crazy, but then he meets Wade Wilson aka Deadpool.
    And to make things more complicated than they already are between Captain America and Deadpool, SHIELD wants the team to capture Deadpool because he managed to break into one of their bases and killed an agent.
    No one knows that Steve knows exactly where Deadpool lives, what he actually looks like, his story, or that he's dating the Captain. And they can't know.
    At least, not yet.

    Deadpool loves playing with death- seeing as he can't die- but his boyfriend- God does he love saying that- doesn't like Wade getting himself into situations that could get him on SHIELD radar.
    And that's exactly what Wade ends up doing when he manages to break into a SHIELD base and kill an agent there (who was secretly a HYDRA member, but that still doesn't help Wade's case) and gets out despite everyone shooting him multiple times in the torso and of course, vital organs.

    Originally written for Capkink. Pre-Avengers (both in-universe and IRL). Steve is stuck living at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters in New York, more isolated than ever. One day, a red-and-black-clad stranger named Deadpool stumbles into his room and will not stop talking. They bump into each other again and again, and as annoying as Deadpool is, he's the only one who treats Steve like a person instead of an asset, a robot, or a piece of glass. Steve likes that.
