Emma is stuck in the fantasy of finding a girlfriend who loves the same domestic things as her, but that gets ruined when she accidentally encounters Baran on them.
Leading to an awkward and 'poor attempt to act professional' call between them both about this whole thing.
Now stuck with this kind of information, Emma agrees with Baran to keep this whole thing in wraps. Especially since its shown that Emma willingly adjusted her age range to be older than her.

Cassie's eyebrows quirked, knowing by her tone exactly what Samira was asking with that question that would have been innocuous to anyone else listening. Not that she would have turned her down anyways, but scanning her coworker up and down, it certainly seemed like Samira was highly in need of this tonight. Whether this was a particularly healthy coping mechanism, Cassie wasn't sure, but it was definitely far better than most she'd indulged in herself in years past.

Dana has been wanting Emma to get more used to strenuous cases. With her other doctors in mind being busy, she decides to request Dr. Al-Hashimi to guide and mentor Emma. While the attending happily takes the offer, her own feelings for the young nurse kind of gets in the way of professionalism. She'd rather focus on what is happening right now than anything else.
While Emma feels the same way, she cannot seem to focus on what's happening right now. With Al-Hashimi now guiding her, she cannot help but feel like she is not good enough to be taught as a student.
