Summary
Once upon a time, in the world of Farian, there was a Grand Sorcerer who had four followers. Together they wandered the lands and earned a reputation of being noble and wise travellers. Eventually, he established an isolated sect with his four close companions. People near and far would gather at his doorstep for a chance to seek out his wisdom.
One day, without any word of warning, he shattered the Ultimate Laws and plunged the world into chaos. In order to save itself, it sealed itself into another world unlike it: one made of machines instead of magic, thoughts instead of gods.
The shards of the world entwined with stories until they were indistinguishable from Farian's people. They became completely different beasts from the people they once were.
It was said that the Grand Sorcerer disappeared to escape the consequences of his actions.
Powers greater than the pantheon call for the sorcerer to repair what was broken— through any means necessary. The only one capable of restoring Farian was that very soul.
