Summary
Years of bullying, being a pushover, a worthless Deku had led her to this moment - meeting All Might on top of a building, after her recklessness almost killed her. Izumi has grabbed his leg, desperate to prolong their talk, to hear one single sentence from her greatest hero. To hear what she wanted to hear since she learnt that she was quirkless.
She managed to make him stop. To make him listen and see her. And he responded.
Perhaps he didn't say something she wanted. Something she craved.
Instead, he said something she needed and should hear for a long time.
