You looked over your shoulder, then glanced down the vent, regarding the darkness waiting beyond. You sighed, and got to your feet. Sebastian loomed over you, his hands clasped. His face split with a smile as your eyes landed on his.
“My daughter has gone missing."

Title is a reference to The Marsh King's Daughter, but this is not inspired by it.
I'm not a fan of oc inserts in fanfics myself, but you have to HEAR ME OUT. Prorva's character belongs to @tikhondownichi on X (check them out, their art is awesome), and her and Sebastian's complicated dynamic was so intriguing to me that I just HAD to write about them. Angstiness (and silliness) awaits.
The abuse tag refers to light physical abuse and possibly emotional abuse. Read at your own discretion!

Hands down the best characterisation I have read of these two (perhaps because I read too much smut). I think it is hugely thanks to Roadhog's sense of humour that other writers tend to overlook and the overall cartoonish humour found throughout the story. It is the perfect length. The characters interact in ways that are fluid and realistic. If someone told me this was an official Overwatch story or writer, I might just believe them. I want to write like this one day.
