Summary
Rio stared at her quietly, slowly tapping her foot against the tiled floor. A wrinkle formed between her eyebrows from thinking about Agatha's predicament, and the lawyer sighed, waving her hand dismissively.
"Stop trying to find a solution to this. It will give you a stroke."
"Marry me," Agatha was glad she had finished her drink because she would spill it all over the bar at the words. She blinked to regain her composure, her mind scrambling for a teasing remark to fire back at Rio, but her tongue could only form one word.
"What?"
"I'm not a stranger from Craigslist, and I know probably most psychopaths would say that, but I'm not a psychopath. So, marry me."

Agatha learns about a clause in her mother's will that makes her unable to inherit Evanora's fortune unless she gets married by forty. While drowning her sorrows at a bar, she meets Rio, a PhD student working behind the bar to make ends meet, who proposes an insane solution to her problem. Or rather, proposes to Agatha.
Everything spirals out of control after that. -

But what intern shows up as a welcome BBQ for their new job in that.
Her high waisted jean shorts cut off at her butt. No, above her butt, the sloped edges of her ass hanging out the back. Despite the fact that she looks no more than 5’4”, her legs look impossibly long. The expanse of smooth, milky skin stretches down to her feet, adored in high heeled wedges completely inappropriate for the venue. Her brunette hair is tied up in a ponytail, but still reaches halfway down her back in messy waves. She’s wearing a deep purple crochet top, cropped to above her belly button. As she heads for the cooler without a word, Rio can see the criss-crossed ties forming three perfect bows across her bare back.

Summary
Agatha Harkness never wanted to inherit a house in the middle of nowhere. Much less one filled with magical runes, locked doors and suspicious whispers coming from the basement. She just wanted a peaceful fresh start after a messy divorce. Peace, solitude and a bunny.
But Westview isn’t peaceful, the house isn’t normal, and the creature in the basement didn’t want to stay quiet.
Rio Vidal is a centuries-old vampire. Dramatic, addicted to VHS tapes, and with an annoying tendency to invade Agatha’s life (and heart) with sarcastic comments and bad ideas. Centuries ago, she helped the ancient Harkness coven seal a powerful witch beneath the house. Now, she depends on Agatha to keep the seal intact.
