“Joel..” you croak out as blood started dripping from your mouth and painting your teeth red. His head snaps to you, face already filled with sorrow and his attention on you solely. You always had a better way out, some creative and nifty solution, surely you’d have one this time.

Tess isn’t confident that getting their battery won’t turn out badly for her and Joel, so she calls in a close friend as backup just in case. Joel isn’t quite sure what to make of her. She’s just so…nice and trusting. You being as trusting as you are is dangerous.
