Piedmont feels like Dipper is walking through static.
Being ‘home’ now feels like everything is artificially generated, like the Nightmare Realm. Just. Bland. Fake. Like when he touches it, his fingers just slip right through it all. Gravity Falls feels real, tangible. And when he thinks of it, he can breathe easier—because that’s his home, this anomalous place six hours north.
Here, the air is stale.
