After the events of Starcourt, everyone thought Upside Down threat was over but Vecna’s true plans is not what it seems. A simple cold, starts a chain reaction that will lead to events that will have Nancy reliving a new childhood in the hands of her loved ones and some new figures, for better and for worse.

Joyce was ready for a night of wallow in self-pity, but a phone call from Hopper changed her plans. Now she has to figure out why Jonathan and Nancy, dropped earlier then their classification test, and probably fight an Upside Down related threat while also dealing with some unresolved feelings towards Hopper. She should thrown in another world crisis in the mix for some variety too at this point.

After everything that happened in Hawkins, the teens all moved to Boston for a fresh start. Caregivers looked after their own respective Littles in their own close knit bubbles. Somedays, it took more to handle them so Robin invites everyone for a family dinner after Nancy has a panic attack for support. Not realizing it would lead to an unexpected combustible chain reaction.

Nancy Wheeler is about to graduate from college. Then, she's expected to go into the real world and get a real job. It isn't like she wouldn't be ok with that. She just doesn't know what her life, what she, would be like without music. When Barb sends her a craigslist link to local Boston band's tryouts she shows up and only 1 of the band members is there. Robin Buckley is not ready to give up. After years of trying to keep this band together, they would be lost without it. Between doing everything she can to provide for Max and help her to adulthood, she doesn't know what else she can do to take care of her. When they hear Nancy play the drums, they know that everything is changing tonight. But is the rest of the band ready to give up? And, if they actually go for it, where will it take Okay Inside (Chrissy, Max, Nancy, Robin, and Vickie)? Just the east coast? Or beyond?
