Summary
V just wanted a new start after his family fell apart and joined up with Snake Nation of all things. Night City had seemed like as good a place as any to do that, plus one Jackie Welles made everything seem a little brighter and kinder there for a while. But with Jackie gone, Night City begins to lose its luster and V finds himself longing for the past. For the quiet life so many in this damned place seem so quick to scoff at.
Panam finds herself at a crossroads: leave the clan for good or return to the fold? But, a meeting of fate shows her a hard glimpse at one of her possible futures and it isn't as enticing as she once thought. Life keeps throwing them together and she can't even say she's mad about it, even when she wants to be. Did she ever really have a choice? Or was this always the path her life was meant to take?

Summary
Ever since they had parted ways a few days back - after their cruelly short time together in the Basilisk, his inopportune black out, and the Aldecaldos moving camp - V was grasping at straws to come out with an excuse to get Panam to come see him in the city. The intensity of his time with Panam in the Basilisk caused after effects to trickle down his spine and dance across his nerves still a few days later. So, he concocted the perfect date night for them and invited the nomad for a night out on the town so they could both relax and work off some of their... pent-up tension.

Cyberpunk created an amazing world and gave us some incredibly memorable characters, but unfortunately didn’t let us spend that much time with many of them. These stories will fill in a few blanks, exploring V’s relationships, particularly with Panam, and adding some richness to Night City.
You can also expect plenty of references to other games, books, films, etc. - I can’t help it, it’s too fun.

After years of endless battles, between his past as an ex-corpo, to fighting in the war, to what he hoped would be his final fight to save himself from the Relic with Panam and the Aldecaldos, V felt he could finally have some semblance of peace as he escaped further into the desert with his new family. He held hope that they could find an alternative solution to the ever-ticking doomsday clock of his decaying body somewhere in the NUSA that wasn't the "City of Dreams".
Yet, just like an addiction he couldn't shake, V knew he wasn't done with Night City - and it wasn't done with him. But at what cost?
