What he was not was Shen Qingqiu the scum villain of that trash novel that his brother loved so much. So, it’s a pity that he reincarnates into Proud Immortal Demon Way, and ends up in the body of Shen Jiu, future Scum Villain pre-canon PIDW.
Thankfully, he gets one perk, the user interface known as the system and he doesn't intend to stick around to become the villain.

Time Loop Wei Ying is tired of saving everyone's bacon just for them to murder him later. When he reappears back in the Burial Mounds, he sets off to get things done without being made into either a weapon, turned into the cultivation world's pariah, or being used as a pawn. (Includes multiple cameos by the Yiling Patriarch who is totally not Wei Wuxian, because that's ridiculous.)
Morally Grey Wei Ying. Master of Talisman Wei Ying. BAMF Wei Ying.
He has issues about a lot of things far scarier than dogs, and it colors his view of many of his old friends/family... While not completely bashing be warned that Wei Ying is not going to be nice.
