It’s his fucking cat instincts that seem to have a problem with them.

In a world full of animal shifters, Max being able to turn into a cat shouldn't be that weird. It wouldn't be, if Jos hadn't spent Max's entire life convincing the world Max could turn into a lion and not a house cat.
