Wave changed a lot about Team 7, but not enough to make them entirely functional. Also someone should have really reminded Kakashi to pay attention to that tiny part of his genius brain that recognises random patterns, before he called a rest stop on the way home on top of an old, decayed Uzushio travel seal with an over-chakra-charged Uzumaki.
And he thought the month of the Wave mission was long, now he's stuck with the team, in a place he never expected to have anything to do with, with no way back.
Maybe he should have paid more attention to history, or stayed in the academy long enough to have history classes.Series

Summary
A red-haired teenager stands at the gates of Konoha soon after the destruction of Uzushio, in the middle of the Second Shinobi War.
Hiruzen thinks he should suspect this sudden appearance, but his heart sings a different story. To an inexplicable calling of his instincts, he has a feeling the boy couldn't be a better protector and loyal shinobi of Konoha they've ever seen.
In fact, he secretly thinks as he plots, the boy can be in the running against Minato.
It was something Uzumaki Sei would have paled and protested at had he known.
Sei cupped his hands under the faintly glowing orb. The red chakra which pulsed with its flickering light tickled his hands.
"I'll need to wait a while, Kurama," he whispered, "a long while, maybe."
The light pulsed again. Sei smiled, wider than he'd ever allowed. In the confines of his mind, he was free from pain. The water rippled underneath his feet, pure and blue, and the walls gleamed white despite the cracks which ran through them.Bookmarked by WinterEmpress

Summary
Despite what people might think about him, Naruto doesn’t mind being an omega.
The fact he has a pussy instead of a dick is just biology and has no impact on the way he lives his life. It’s in his pants anyway, and people who try to look are perverts and shouldn’t be given the time of day. Nobody has the right to treat him differently because of anatomy, and nobody should think Naruto should behave differently because of it either.
A friend waits for him at the end of his long, frustrating mission, and he is so, so, so happy to see that spiky ponytail. (he ignores the reason why).

Shikamaru’s never felt chakra so vibrant and warm before.
The log that Naruto’s been punching shatters clean apart, reduced to little more than splinters under the devastating force of his chakra enhanced blow.
Shocked and more than a bit startled, Shikamaru wheezes loudly, the sound carrying across the clearing and causing Naruto to abruptly turn and look in his direction.
